Job Description

Manufacturing Engineer sought to manage and coordinate maintenance activities, ensuring optimal performance of the manufacturing facility.

Arrabawn Co-op's Ingredients Manufacturing Division invites applications for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Support operations and maintenance requirements across the site, ensuring continuation of process improvements.
  • Execute maintenance procedures in line with site SOP's, attending to breakdowns and raising corrective maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Support and assist with Operations and Maintenance Utilities Systems, actively engaging in innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Manage vendors on site for services delivered and areas owned under the Facilities Services contract.
  • Perform day-to-day preventative maintenance of all plants, machinery, and equipment.
  • Maintain the site's CMMS system, completing all documentation related to maintenance procedures.
  • Maintain all Company assets in accordance with manufacturers' specifications.
  • Electrical and mechanical process and installation troubleshooting, including fire alarm and ATEX system management.
  • Manage site calibrations and all requirements for audit certification.
  • Adhere to all site safety policies, completing all work according to site Quality standards and GMP.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of managing a maintenance/engineering function.
  • A third-level engineering degree in process, mechanical, electrical, or similar discipline.
  • Strong people management, problem-solving, planning, organizing, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to achieve results through people.
  • IT literacy and fluency in English written and oral.
  • Food industry experience and knowledge of manufacturing in the dairy industry is a distinct advantage.
  • Proven experience, minimum of 3 to 4 years.
