Manufacturing Engineer - Wexford Do you have a proven track record of working as a Manufacturing engineer in a fast-paced environment? Are you seeking the next challenge? Company: Established for over several decades and with a headcount of over 100 people, our client has cemented their reputation in the Irish engineering market as one of leading practices in steel engineering who manufacture innovative and cutting-edge precision machine components. They boast a portfolio of work in the medical, aerospace and electronics markets in which they consistently refine and improve process and methods to offer the best solutions. Role: The successful Manufacturing Engineer will be based in Wexford and will be predominately tasked with the following: Use lean manufacturing techniques to continuously improve the effectivity and efficiency of the processes. Take responsibility for the continuous improvement of the process and its layout to ensure productivity and efficiencies are at their highest. Work across departments and schedule appropriate workload across to staff members Oversee and implement process improvements around process flow & quality. Drive individual performance in the team. Person: For this Manufacturing Engineer role, we are looking to speak to candidates who fit the following profile: Relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience is required. Experience with lean continuous improvement methods, and implementation of such is desired. Experience supervising or managing staff is beneficial Experience with CNC machines or robotics is advantageous Proven problem-solving skills.
