Job Description:
Our Client, an innovative start-up, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing/IT Project Manager to drive and manage critical projects.

We are looking for someone who understands the complexities of manufacturing processes and can seamlessly manage IT projects that support our business goals.


This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of the manufacturing industry, working with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to deliver impactful results.

You will be based in Limerick three days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining two days.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage crossfunctional projects related to technology and manufacturing, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments, including production, IT, and engineering, to define project requirements and objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations, ensuring effective execution of each project phase.
  • Facilitate smooth communication between technical and nontechnical teams, translating manufacturing needs into actionable IT solutions.
  • Utilise project management methodologies, particularly Agile techniques, to drive project success.
  • Track project performance, identifying risks, and mitigating issues to ensure project deliverables meet business objectives.
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring alignment and engagement throughout project lifecycles.
  • Optionally, leverage tools such as Wrike or HubSpot to manage project workflows and communications (experience in these tools is a nicetohave).
  • Maintain project documentation and present regular status updates to leadership and other stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • Proven project management experience, ideally in a manufacturing or digital setting.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, with the ability to apply IT solutions to improve efficiency and operations.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and align diverse teams.
  • Handson experience with project management tools and methodologies. Experience with Wrike or HubSpot is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) with the ability to apply them in a manufacturing context.
  • Certifications:
  • PMP Certification is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • Additional Qualities:
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fastpaced startup environment.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to balance technical details with bigpicture thinking.
  • A proactive, solutionsoriented approach to project management.
