Manufacturing Process Engineer required to optimize production processes and ensure safety and quality standards in a dynamic biopharmaceutical industry environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor equipment performance and correct problems or process parameters to meet production goals.
- Interface with operations, quality and technical teams on products or processes in existing manufacturing processes.
- Ensure plant meets safety, quality, regulatory, service and financial goals through effective support of Engineering Site Services.
- Initiate and complete technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes.
- Perform problem-solving from basic engineering principles to complex and advanced problems.
- Support Engineering Site Services meet key metrics.
- Assist in process development and improvement projects.
- Share engineering/scientific knowledge with team members.
- Assist in the deployment of a Business Excellence culture.
- Identify and implement cost improvement and cycle time reduction opportunities.
- Adhere to GLP and GMP requirements and ensure safety standards are met.
- Ensure environmental procedures are adhered to and improvements made where possible.
Requirements:
- A third-level qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Two years' experience in engineer/scientific/quality systems.
- Experience in the manufacture of diagnostic assays or a relevant post-graduate qualification is an advantage.
