Manufacturing Process Engineer required to support efficient operations in production area, optimize processes, and ensure production goals are met.

The primary responsibility of the Manufacturing Process Engineer is to:
- Monitor equipment, machines and tools performance and correct problems or process parameters that produce non-conforming products, low yields or product quality issues.
- Interface with operations, quality and technical teams on products or processes in existing manufacturing processes.
- Ensure the plant meets safety, quality, regulatory, service and financial goals through effective support of Engineering Site Services.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Initiating and completing technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes.
- Analysing and solving complex problems from basic engineering principles to advanced concepts.
- Supporting Engineering Site Services to meet key metrics.
- Assisting in process development/improvement projects and sharing engineering/scientific knowledge with team members.
- Identifying and implementing cost improvement and cycle time reduction opportunities.
- Ensuring adherence to GLP and GMP requirements, safety standards and environmental procedures.
Requirements:
- A third level qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline.
- Two years experience in engineer/scientific/quality systems.
- Experience in the manufacture of diagnostic assays or a relevant post-graduate qualification is an advantage.
