Manufacturing Process Engineer (Nights)Monday – Thursday | 8pm-6amCo. SligoExcellent Salary & Benefits packageOur client is a global healthcare leader, specialising in developing technology to help transform the practice of medical diagnosis from an art to a science, helping to create the modern diagnostics industry through the company's commitment to improving patient care and lowering overall costs.Roles & Responsibilities:Provide support to the manufacturing organisation to facilitate efficient operations within the production area, to optimize existing processes, and to ensure that production goals are met.Initiates and completes technical activities leading to new or improved products or processes, for current programs, next generation programs, and to meet strategic goals and objectives of the company.Assist with the day-to-day demand and preventative maintenance and problem solving of plant and manufacturing equipment to achieve product quality and production schedule goals.Monitor performance of equipment, machines, and tools and correct equipment problems or process parameters that produce non-conforming products, low yields, or product quality issues.Interface with operations, quality, and technical teams on products or processes in the existing manufacturing processes.Ensure the plant meets its safety, quality, regulatory, service, and financial goals through effective support of Engineering Site Services.What we are looking for:A third level qualification in a relevant Engineering or relevant discipline as this will provide a basic understanding of engineering, scientific, and/or quality principles required for the role.Two years’ experience in the engineer/scientific/quality systems.Experience with mechanical, electrical, and automation engineering.Experience in the manufacture of diagnostic assays or a relevant post-graduate qualification is an advantage.If this sounds like an opportunity that could potentially be of interest to you, simply get in touch with Nathaniel Ferris by applying to this advertisement or giving me a call. #J-18808-Ljbffr
