I am looking for several production technicians to work within the Gas and Chemical process area of a Semiconductor fabrication plant. Full training will be provided, with long-term career prospects, and potential temp to perm. Full training will be provided for this role and would suit people from the trades, chemicals, or process industry who are hands-on in their current roles. All successful technicians will be provided full training and once signed off be responsible for the safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, with duties including: Handling and change-out of gas and chemical containers & process equipment Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative/repair maintenance Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs Support of quality systems Managing inventories of gases and chemicals Primary communication point to customer Qualification and Experience High school diploma, technical education, or relevant technical training within a manufacturing or semiconductor sub-fab environment. Proven ability to work safely in industrial environments Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) working environment Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and or hands-on electrical/electronic experience Proficient in using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Excellent communication skills and strong technical writing skills Experience with chemicals, hazardous gases, and gas analysis, is a big ask but would be a great advantage Must be a strong team player and able to work either days or 12-hour rotating Day & Night Shifts.
