Marketing Assistant role available in Portlaoise town, supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies and activities for a leading Irish department store retailer.
Shaws Department Stores, a trusted and much-loved brand, is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our Support Office team. With a rich heritage and a commitment to providing quality products and expert knowledge, we are looking for a talented individual to help drive our marketing efforts forward.
The successful candidate will work closely with our Marketing Manager to develop and execute both traditional and digital marketing strategies and activities. Key responsibilities will include:
- Creating and delivering engaging content across all key social media channels, ensuring brand standards are met.
- Developing and creating printed collateral for display in traditional media and in-store.
- Managing databases and ensuring compliance with GDPR legislation.
- Executing email marketing campaigns and working with third-party organisations to maximise marketing opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least one year's experience in a marketing role, preferably in the retail sector.
- Experience working on social media platforms and maximising marketing opportunities.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive and motivated attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
