What is the opportunity? This is a fixed term role offering an opportunityto generate more value from the detailed web analytics data available to Group Marketing.

With this data we have the potential to deliver further insights that can drive improvements in marketing efficiency.


You will have the chance to take ownership whilst working collaboratively to build out a programme of analytical work that will provide actionable insights on campaign performance.


These insights will give you the opportunity to make data backed recommendations that will drive tangible improvements to the bottom line for the business In this role, you will: Engage stakeholders across marketing, GWS, Product Team and external agencies to find opportunities to enhance web analytics on marketing performance and drive improved campaign efficiency.


Use Agile methodologies to manage and deliver a pipeline of planned improvements, utilising strong stakeholder management skills to ensure the programme of delivery is successfully delivered and communicated.

Make recommendations to improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Influence key decision makers to ensure data driven insights are used to inform campaign planning and design.

Act as a senior lead within the team, driving improvements in quality of work and ways of working.


Work with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies that are aligned with the company's overall business goals and objectives, supported by web analytics data.

Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to improve campaign performance.


What will make you stand out? We are looking for someone who has a wealth of experience in Data Analytics with the ability to translate data and analytics into actionable insights.


Not only will you have an in depth understanding of data but how it specifically links in to the Bank.


This role will require strong collaboration and influencing skills, engaging all parties effectively and utilising Agile methodologies to manage, prioritise and deliver a backlog of requirements.


The following skills will be essential to ensure good performance: Solid understanding of web analytics data and methodologies Analytical skills, including coding in Python/SAS/SQL/R Knowledge of marketing effectiveness techniques, including control groups and Strong understanding of commercial environment and marketing attribution methodologies channels Essential Qualifications There are no specific qualifications or minimum educational requirements needed for this role.


More about the team The Group Customer Analytics & Transformation team sits within the Group Marketing function and supports our customers, colleagues and partners across Ireland, UK and Internationally.


In a changing market environment, where customer expectations continue to grow and there is an increasing demand for personalised customer experiences, Customer Analytics is leading the charge to enable and deliver this personalised experience through data analytics.


To deliver on this vision the Customer Analytics team leverage internal and external data and apply data analytics and visualisation techniques to maximise the value of this data, explain it back to the business, and deliver positive outcomes for our customers and our business.


The complex challenges the team faces means there is considerable opportunity for team members to grow and develop both their technical and non-technical skills to achieve their full potential at Bank of Ireland.


This is a hybrid role and can be done anywhere in the Republic of Ireland with the primary office location as Dublin.

Travel will be required for in-person collaboration - exact frequency to be agreed with manager.
