Assist the marketing team in promoting water safety messages through various mediums, developing campaigns, and coordinating communications across media channels.
Water Safety Ireland is seeking a Marketing Assistant to join their team in Galway.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver marketing plans, business development plans, and strategic plans.
- Create water safety awareness campaigns targeting those at risk of drowning.
- Work closely with the Marketing Manager and other staff to develop and deliver campaigns, publications, and resources.
- Seek and deliver creative ways to promote water safety messages to the public.
- Coordinate marketing communications across media channels, including advertisements, websites, and promotional activities.
- Act as a brand steward, upholding brand and trademark standards.
- Assist with the organisation of exhibitions, conferences, and seminars.
- Prepare logistics for video/photography shoots.
- Use statistics to create content for various channels, including websites, social media, and press interviews.
- Act on water safety-related issues in the public domain.
- Keep up to date on the latest trends and developments in marketing communications.
- Create press releases and news articles to bring water safety issues into the public domain.
- Develop new relationships with third parties to create water safety marketing partnerships.
- Assist with the planning, management, and delivery of marketing exhibitions and public events.
- Create publications, such as Annual Reports.
- Provide input to the planning of the WSI Marketing budget.
- Represent Water Safety Ireland at events.
- Administer Requests for Tender and draft relevant documents.
