Job Description
Join a successful Irish family-run business in Dublin 22, managing a Material Recovery Facility with a team. The successful candidate will oversee daily operations, implement best practices, and ensure efficient waste processing and budgeted results.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maximising production and efficient operation of the facility
- Scheduling work rotas and managing logistics, operational, and annual leave needs
- Ensuring cost-effective operations, supervising staff, and implementing processes and activities
- Managing waste materials handling, separation, and delivery to appropriate outlets
- Maintaining revenue and cost control measures, including weighbridge traffic and waste categorisation
- Developing and implementing a plant maintenance program and stock management procedures
- Fully training personnel and ensuring adherence to health and safety guidelines and practices
Requirements include management experience in production or waste management/processing, and experience managing in a labour-intensive, multi-shift environment.
