Job description for M&E coordinator with 4-5 years experience, working with a leading general building contractor in Ireland, requiring strong analytical and communication skills.
Design Build Search are working with one of Ireland's leading general building contractors. They are currently recruiting a M&E coordinator. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years experience and will be offered the opportunity to progress and develop their career with a continually growing contractor.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the on-site installation and commissioning of all M&E activities.
- Assist with the development of the work breakdown structure and the project schedule.
- Set up and maintain budgets and expenditures.
- Maintain project contracts and other documentation for customers, contractors and suppliers.
- Ensure the requirements of the quality management plans are met.
- Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are upheld and met, by accompanying H&S officers on site and producing action reports.
- Coordinate team communications, interactions and activities.
- Produce risk assessments of the project.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of site management experience.
- Relevant qualifications in Construction, Engineering, or Trades.
- Proven track record in completing M&E projects from concept to completion.
- Experience working with a main contractor.
- Strong initiative, self-motivation, and work ethic.
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
- In-depth technical and practical knowledge of the construction industry.
