Job description for M&E coordinator with 4-5 years experience, working with a leading general building contractor in Ireland, requiring strong analytical and communication skills.

Design Build Search are working with one of Ireland's leading general building contractors. They are currently recruiting a M&E coordinator. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years experience and will be offered the opportunity to progress and develop their career with a continually growing contractor.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the on-site installation and commissioning of all M&E activities.
  • Assist with the development of the work breakdown structure and the project schedule.
  • Set up and maintain budgets and expenditures.
  • Maintain project contracts and other documentation for customers, contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure the requirements of the quality management plans are met.
  • Ensure all Health and Safety requirements are upheld and met, by accompanying H&S officers on site and producing action reports.
  • Coordinate team communications, interactions and activities.
  • Produce risk assessments of the project.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of site management experience.
  • Relevant qualifications in Construction, Engineering, or Trades.
  • Proven track record in completing M&E projects from concept to completion.
  • Experience working with a main contractor.
  • Strong initiative, self-motivation, and work ethic.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • In-depth technical and practical knowledge of the construction industry.
