Job Description
We are seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to join our team in Dublin. This role will report to the Site Project Manager and will be responsible for managing the coordination of mechanical and electrical systems on-site. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Key Responsibilities: Manage all service installations in strict accordance with client specifications and company procedures. Oversee and coordinate services contractors, subcontractors, and supply chain partners. Analyze data to determine critical sequences and resource requirements for key management decisions. Review and report on specifications and design drawings, ensuring service and design decisions meet project requirements. Develop design proposals during sketch, detailed design, and production stages when appropriate. Plan and manage design team drawings (e.g., AutoCAD) and related documentation. Facilitate the flow of information between the design team and services subcontractors. Attend client meetings. Organize and chair coordination meetings with services subcontractors. Plan and organize site facilities and resources to meet project deadlines. Review and track subcontractor submittals, including plant proposals and procurement routes. Inspect, assess, and verify the commissioning of MEP systems on-site. Requirements: Relevant degree or diploma in Engineering or a related discipline. 4+ years of experience in a similar role with a main contractor, building services contractor, or consultants office. Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, sprinkler, and process systems/construction. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Proven track record in commercial or residential projects. Membership in a professional body (e.g., CIBSE) is a benefit.
