Experienced M&E Project Manager sought for large-scale pharmaceutical project in West Dublin, overseeing mechanical and electrical systems design, installation, and commissioning.
Our client, a leading construction and engineering company, requires a skilled professional to manage the project from design through to completion, ensuring high-quality results and compliance with industry standards.
About the Role
- Lead and manage M&E elements of the pharmaceutical project, from design to completion.
- Coordinate planning, design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Liaise with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers to deliver M&E works on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with building regulations, health and safety standards, and industry guidelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Prepare and present project reports, schedules, and cost forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.
- Oversee procurement of M&E materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
- Work closely with the construction team to ensure M&E systems are fully coordinated with other project aspects.
- Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems to ensure they meet performance and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager, ideally in the pharmaceutical or similar industries.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Familiarity with building regulations and industry standards, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
