Seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to drive safety culture, manage projects, and lead a team of professionals in a dynamic construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive an embedded HS&E culture, creating a continually progressive culture that prioritizes safety.
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner, carrying out duties in the best interests of the company and promoting Clancy's core values.
  • Carry out work as per the requirements of the Clancy integrated management system (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Liaise with Contracts Manager regarding programming and resourcing requirements.
  • Liaise with Site Manager regarding sub-contractors' programmes and coordination.
  • Liaise with Quantity Surveyor on cost issues and design options.
  • Liaise with utility providers and Local Authorities as per project requirements.
  • Develop design proposals at sketch, detail design, and production stages.
  • Check and report on specifications and design drawings.
  • Ensure that appropriate service/design decisions are met.
  • Plan and manage drawings and other documentation of design, installation, and as-constructed work.
  • Programme and facilitate the flow of information between the Design Team and the services sub-contractors.
  • Attend meetings with clients, architects, and consultants, keeping them informed of progress.
  • Organise and chair coordinated meetings for services sub-contractors.
  • Inspect, assess, commission, and verify mechanical systems/electrical systems on site.
  • Demonstrate systems to clients in accordance with design parameters.
  • Review and monitor M&E-related onsite labour force.
  • Monitor the work and quality of M&E subcontractors.
  • Assist the Contract Manager with the M&E programme.
  • Generate and maintain progress status reports and report on the Master Construction Programme.
  • Coordinate and ensure timely submittal of the mechanical and electrical components of the O&M File.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Experience: 5+ years in Building Services Contractor/Consultant company or equivalent.
  • Knowledge: Mechanical, electrical, sprinkler, and process systems.
  • General knowledge of construction project management.
  • Knowledge of O&M/BCAR requirements.
  • Education: Minimum third-level qualification in Engineering/Building Services or equivalent.

Technical Abilities:

  • Good working knowledge of IT Systems (MS Office, MS Teams, Project Management Software, Procore).
  • Technical ability in preparing and assessing drawings, specifications, O&M, and technical documentation.
  • Inspection, assessment, commissioning, and verification of mechanical systems/electrical systems on site.
