Experienced M&E Project Manager Sought for Large-Scale Pharmaceutical Project in West Dublin

We are seeking a highly skilled M&E Project Manager to oversee a major pharmaceutical project in West Dublin. The successful candidate will lead the M&E elements of the project, ensuring that mechanical and electrical systems are designed, installed, and commissioned to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the M&E elements of the pharmaceutical project from design through to completion.
  • Coordinate the planning, design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, power, lighting, and plumbing.
  • Liaise with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure the seamless integration of M&E systems into the project.
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that M&E works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, health and safety standards, and industry guidelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Prepare and present project reports, schedules, and cost forecasts to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Oversee the procurement of M&E materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery.
  • Work closely with the construction team to ensure that M&E systems are fully coordinated with other aspects of the project.
  • Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems to ensure they meet performance and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager, ideally in the pharmaceutical or similar industries.
  • Strong knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
  • Familiarity with building regulations and industry standards, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
