Position: M&E Project Manager Location: West Dublin Salary: €80,000 per annum Exciting Opportunity: M&E Project Manager in West Dublin (Pharma Project)! About the Role: Our client, a leading company in the construction and engineering sector, is seeking an experienced M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) Project Manager to oversee a large-scale pharmaceutical project in West Dublin. The successful candidate will manage all M&E aspects of the project, ensuring that mechanical and electrical systems are designed, installed, and commissioned to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the M&E elements of the pharmaceutical project from design through to completion. Coordinate the planning, design, installation, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, power, lighting, and plumbing. Liaise with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure the seamless integration of M&E systems into the project. Manage subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that M&E works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations, health and safety standards, and industry guidelines. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications. Prepare and present project reports, schedules, and cost forecasts to senior management and stakeholders. Oversee the procurement of M&E materials and equipment, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery. Work closely with the construction team to ensure that M&E systems are fully coordinated with other aspects of the project. Manage testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems to ensure they meet performance and regulatory requirements. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as an M&E Project Manager, ideally in the pharmaceutical or similar industries. Strong knowledge of M&E systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection. Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource management. Familiarity with building regulations and industry standards, particularly in the pharmaceutical sector. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, AutoCAD). Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
