Associate Mechanical & Electrical Consulting Engineer    Overview Our client is seeking an Associate M&E Consulting Engineer to join their dynamic team, focusing on a diverse range of projects across Ireland. This role involves working with both internal teams and external clients, particularly investors and occupiers, across various property types, with a strong focus on commercial installations and operational real estate. This role is varied and no 2 days will be the same. Responsibilities include: Conducting Technical Due Diligence (TDD)Handling dilapidations assessments. MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design and advisory. Providing technical support and management services. Conducting energy surveys and assessments. Developing Asset Improvement Plans focused on decarbonization and Net Zero Carbon strategies. Creating Life Cycle and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedules. Project management and monitoring. Collaborating with other teams as needed.   Candidate Profile:   Our client is looking for a high-performing individual with a strong technical background and experience in commercial M&E. The ideal candidate will be at an advanced engineering level and eager to take the next step in their career.   Key qualifications include: Degree-level education or significant practical experience in the field, with a preference for candidates working towards chartership. Strong commercial experience and technical expertise. Experience working with or managing specialist contractors. Established network within the M&E supply chain and industry. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting with senior stakeholders. Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. Ability to prioritize workload and work independently. Flexibility to travel as required. Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software. Clean driving license and willingness to travel within Ireland and Europe
