Job Description
As a Mechanical Construction Manager, you will be pivotal to overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion. You will review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs, while overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
- Review project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
- Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to successfully deliver cutting edge projects
- Determine project schedule needs and provide support in the completion of project schedule
- Conduct regular safety walks of the site and report to site supervisor for closure
- Conduct regular quality walks of the site and report to site supervisor for closure
- Lead commissioning activities ensuring timely completion and reporting of roadblocks and follow up to ensure prompt closure
Requirements
- Mechanical trade or Engineering background essential
- Minimum of 5 years' experience
- Excellent communication and organisation skills required
- Familiarity with CAD & BIM preferred (Autocad, Revit, Navisworks)
- Excellent IT skills required - MS Office/Excel
- A knowledge of database systems such as filemaker would be advantageous
