Job Description

As a Mechanical Construction Manager, you will be pivotal to overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion. You will review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs, while overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.

  • Review project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  • Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and industry experts to successfully deliver cutting edge projects
  • Determine project schedule needs and provide support in the completion of project schedule
  • Conduct regular safety walks of the site and report to site supervisor for closure
  • Conduct regular quality walks of the site and report to site supervisor for closure
  • Lead commissioning activities ensuring timely completion and reporting of roadblocks and follow up to ensure prompt closure

Requirements

  • Mechanical trade or Engineering background essential
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills required
  • Familiarity with CAD & BIM preferred (Autocad, Revit, Navisworks)
  • Excellent IT skills required - MS Office/Excel
  • A knowledge of database systems such as filemaker would be advantageous
