They have worked on many prestigious projects involving complex steam, water, air, and heating installations and have established an eminent maintenance division specialising in a full range of mechanical services.The projects you will be working on span various sectors, including healthcare, residential, educational, commercial, and public within the Midlands/East Coast Region.Mechanical Contracts Manager Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications and professional memberships are a plus.Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical contracts management, preferably within the healthcare, residential, educational, commercial, or public sectors.Proven track record of successfully managing complex mechanical engineering contracts from start to finish.Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installations.Excellent contract management and negotiation skills.Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in contract management software and tools.Highly organized and detail-oriented.Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Commitment to delivering high-quality work and exceeding client expectations.As a Mechanical Contracts Manager:Oversee the preparation and management of contracts for mechanical engineering projects.Ensure all contractual obligations are met and managed effectively throughout the project lifecycle.Review and negotiate contract terms with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure favorable outcomes for the company.Coordinate and supervise project activities to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to contractual agreements.Ensure all mechanical works comply with industry standards, regulations, and quality assurance guidelines.Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance.Manage project budgets and financial reporting, ensuring effective cost control.Monitor and manage financial risks associated with contracts and project execution.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding contractual matters.Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.Lead and mentor the contracts management team, promoting a collaborative and efficient work environment.Conduct regular team meetings to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals and contractual obligations.Ensure all project activities adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high safety standards.Maintain accurate contract documentation, including contracts, schedules, meeting minutes, and progress reports.Provide regular updates to senior management and clients, highlighting key milestones and any issues encountered.The Package:Salary will be DOE, but you can expect a salary of at least €85k plus a package.Role:Interviews are taking place this week so if you are interested in this role, click ‘apply now’ to forward an up-to-date CV to stephen@breaghrecruitment.com or call us now on 00353(0)15314345. #J-18808-Ljbffr
