Job Description
Leading project detailed design and documentation, managing H&S systems, participating in Quality Management and ensuring due date delivery of service.
Responsibilities include checking project documentation, coordinating project engineering design activities, directing junior staff, ensuring design calculations meet client QA requirements, carrying out site surveys, coordinating services drawings, leading the compilation of detailed specifications and tender documentation, producing detailed services budgets, and maintaining CPD.
Requirements include a degree qualification (Level 8) with 8 years of post-graduate experience, knowledge of practical design in Building Services, commercial, industrial, and healthcare projects, motivation to direct activities of junior staff, responsibility for delivering good quality engineering designs, and a track record in project and service delivery.
Mechanical Engineering knowledge within Commercial, Industrial, and Healthcare Industries is desirable, as is office-based design ability and a basic understanding of building services design tools such as Auto CAD, Revit, and HEVACOMP.
