Job Description
A Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services is required for new and upcoming projects. The role involves solid technical understanding of core engineering disciplines, providing design engineering duties to the highest standard, and building good relationships at all levels. The candidate should have strong technical ability in Mechanical Engineering Services and Design, a third level qualification in Electrical or Building Services Engineering, and three years' relevant experience in a design consultancy environment. Key responsibilities include designing and specifying Electrical Engineering Solutions, working with clients and project engineers, developing and agreeing design processes, leading Pre-Construction activities, and providing technical support to various teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, can work well with others, and has excellent attention to detail.
Key Requirements:
- Strong technical ability in all aspects of Mechanical Engineering Services and Design
- Third level qualification in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- Three years' relevant experience in a design consultancy environment
- Experience in Dialux and Amtech
- Excellent attention to detail
