Job Description
Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in Building Services to join our team for new and upcoming projects, requiring strong technical ability and experience in design consultancy environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and specification of Electrical Engineering Solutions to current regulations and design standards.
- Collaborate with clients and project engineers to define project requirements and develop technical solutions.
- Lead Pre-Construction activities, including design development, construction details, services coordination, and technical submittals.
- Provide technical support to estimating, procurement, commercial, and project bid teams.
- Offer off-site technical support to construction teams.
Requirements:
- Strong technical ability in all aspects of Mechanical Engineering Services and Design.
- Third-level qualification in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- Three years' relevant experience, preferably in a design consultancy environment.
- Experience in taking an active role in project delivery from concept stage to completion.
- Knowledge and experience of current Design Guides, Building Regulations, EN Standards, and IEC Standards.
- Experience in Dialux and Amtech.
- Proactive, with the ability to work well with others in a multifunctional project team.
- Excellent attention to detail.
