Passion for engineering and innovation is essential. \n\n**Job Title:** Mechanical Design Engineer \n\n**About the Position:** \n\nCollaborate with a multi-discipline team to produce innovative design solutions for various industries. \n\n* Develop concepts and evolve ideas into detailed designs using 3D CAD \n* Apply technical knowledge to work with challenging mechanical requirements \n* Create detailed machine and factory layouts using 2D CAD \n* Produce comprehensive bill of materials and parts lists for mechanical aspects of projects \n* Engage in regular meetings with project teams, suppliers, and clients \n* Remain compliant with relevant legislation, regulations, and company standards \n* Provide technical support during build, testing, and commissioning of projects \n* Manage time to deliver designs in line with project timelines \n* Apply continuous improvement mindset in all aspects of work \n\n**Requirements:** \n\n* Mechanical design/engineering experience in automation industry \n* Minimum of HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar field \n* Proficient in 3D CAD, ideally Solidworks, with experience designing for manufacturing \n* Knowledge of wide range of manufacturing processes \n* Detail-oriented, methodical, and accurate with excellent attention to detail \n* Excellent time management skills, with ability to balance priorities of multiple projects \n* Excellent oral and written communication skills \n* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) \n* Passion for engineering and drive to innovate and contribute to company's success
