Job Description
Seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in machine design, automation, and project management to contribute to all stages of a project from initial proposal to equipment delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design equipment to customer requirements and expectations
- Complete component specification to satisfy design requirements
- Conduct equipment design reviews locally and at customer locations
- Manage critical path items for design and manufacture to meet project schedule
- Collaborate with internal engineering functions for successful time and cost management
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in machine design and 3D CAD design software
- Familiarity with industrial automation industry and hands-on building experience desirable
- Understanding of electrical and control systems a distinct advantage
- Valid driver's license
