Summary: Experienced Mechanical Design Engineer sought to develop technical design solutions for heavy manufacturing company.
An excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to provide technical design solutions to a range of customers. Reporting to the Engineering Manager and working within a team, you will be responsible for developing new designs from initial concept to implementation and improving existing designs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new designs from initial concept to implementation and improve existing designs.
- Produce Bill of Materials and update documentation.
- Conduct 3D models and detailed drawings.
- Design modifications ensuring continuous improvement of existing products.
- Design a range of heavy manufacturing equipment.
- Customer interaction, supply chain & production support.
Requirements:
- Degree educated in a relevant engineering-related subject.
- Minimum of 4 years' design experience, gained within a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in SolidWorks.
