About Our Client: Our client, a leading engineering company based in Limerick, is seeking a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovative team. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop mechanical systems and components for various projects. Create detailed CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and industry standards. Conduct design reviews and provide technical feedback to improve design quality. Perform testing and validation of prototypes to ensure performance and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues efficiently. Maintain accurate documentation of design processes and updates. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical design. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in mechanical design, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
