Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Monaghan Salary: Up to €55,000 An excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join an award-winning, innovative manufacturing company based in Monaghan. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will lead the design and development of new products, liaising closely with production. The Role: Develop new designs from initial concept to implementation and improve existing designs. Work with the sales team to visit customer sites to confirm customers' equipment requirements. Implementation and maintenance of Lean systems for production process. Work closely with our production team during the manufacturing process. Creation of SOPs and production tutorials. Document designs with solid part models, assemblies, and detailed drawings in Autodesk Inventor. Verify designs using traditional analytical methods in conjunction with dynamic and finite element analysis software. Assess and implement continuous improvement for production processes. The Person: Degree educated in a relevant engineering-related subject. 3 years' experience in a similar design role. Experience using SolidWorks or Autodesk.
