Job Description
Seeking a senior Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in HVAC to manage junior engineers and lead on commercial projects in Dublin.
Our client is a large M&E contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality projects.
Responsibilities:
- Attend project handover meetings to receive project packages and develop QEHS documents.
- Conduct design reviews and value engineering based on project documentation, recording all findings.
- Help produce a programme of works for the project.
- Collaborate with the procurement manager to review plant packages before ordering.
- Assist in coordinating mechanical services and builder's work drawings with the site/project manager.
- Manage and deliver quality assured documents.
- Oversee document control, including drawings, RFIs, tech sub log, schedules, and QA packs.
- Support site management with project variations when necessary.
- Aid in O&M development and delivery.
- Assist with the commissioning process, including programme revisions, subcontractor coordination, and certification uploads.
- Adhere to internal templates and ISO standards.
Requirements:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- 5+ years experience in a similar role.
- Experience working with an M&E contractor in the UK or Ireland is essential.
- IT skills in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
