Mechanical Engineer Mechanical Engineers required to join a Tier 1 Contractor on Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Education, Commercial and Data Centre Projects in Dublin & Cork.The Mechanical Engineer will report into the Project Manager and will be responsible for the working with a team of Mechanical sub-contractors ensuring the successful delivery of Mechanical systems. Responsibilities: Prepare, check, and peer review HVAC, piping, plant, and clean utility designs. Provide design oversight across multiple projects, including peer reviews and checks. Resolve technical issues promptly to avoid project delays. Manage procurement from equipment inquiries to site delivery, maintaining a comprehensive audit trail. Prepare design risk assessments and support the development of method statements for Health and Safety. Collaborate with design, construction teams, and supply chain for smooth plant operation and handover. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and quality procedures, keeping thorough records. Liaise with the project manager to prepare the project close-out report. Monitor manufacturing progress and ensure timely equipment delivery to site. Requirements: Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering. 4+ Years experience in a similar role. Experience working on Pharmaceutical or Semi-Conductor projects is essential. Good IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Packages. Ability to work to strict deadlines. A UK or EU passport is an advantage.
