Mechanical Fitter - Manufacturing Our client is one of the largest suppliers of process technology for the Dairy, Beverage and other industries, are currently recruiting a Service Technician. This role will be based on a client site in Dublin City. It will be a Monday to Friday, days role. They happy to provide training, as their equipment is specialised. The Person: The ideal candidate should have a trade or 3rd level qualification with past experience in mechanical maintenance activities Experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and understand plant documentation Should have formal H&S training & experience of typical maintenance H&S requirements (RAMS, LOTO) Proficient in Office software Word & Excel The following would be an advantage, but not essential Knowledge of liquid processing equipment (valves / pumps) Knowledge of High Pressure Pumps (HPP) Knowledge of Homogenisers Knowledge of filter plants Basic electrical / instrumentation Skills And Characteristics Trade or 3rd level qualification in relevant discipline Ability to communicate well with others under time pressure Can manage information and documentation effectively Ability to work as part of a team but also as an individual when required Be able to liaise with customers in a professional manner.
