The Job As a Maintenance Technician, you'll provide essential technical support to the production facility. From preventative maintenance programs to troubleshooting and continuous improvement, your expertise will keep the machines and utilities running smoothly and safely. You will report directly to the Operations Director and take responsibility for: Maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and automation equipment, including pneumatics and hydraulics. Ensuring maximum uptime by proactively identifying and resolving equipment issues. Supporting production employees with technical advice to optimize performance. Collaborating across departments to improve efficiencies and maintain high-quality output. Key Responsibilities Carry out mechanical and electrical maintenance, along with general building upkeep. Regularly service equipment and update maintenance checklists. Execute planned and unplanned maintenance tasks, always adhering to safety standards. Mentor production staff to maximize equipment performance. Collaborate with subcontractors and order spare parts as needed. Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and foster a culture of continuous improvement. About You Experience: At least 3 years in an industrial maintenance environment. Technical Skills: Electrical familiarity is a plus, and familiarity with mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automation is essential. Problem-Solving: You have a keen eye for troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues. Safety-Minded: Strong knowledge of safety precautions is a must.
