Experienced Mechanical Package Manager

Manage large-scale Pharmaceutical Construction projects in Co. Dublin, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule compliance.

About the Role

As an experienced Mechanical Package Manager, you will oversee the coordination of contractors, ensuring they complete their contracts safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and health of all personnel on site, promoting compliance with safety plans and intervening in unsafe situations.
  • Complete regular site audits and inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Coordinate with contractors, reviewing method statements, SPAs, and permit applications to ensure risks are assessed and control measures are in place.
  • Monitor day-to-day site activities, ensuring contractors complete their contracts on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Participate in weekly coordination meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and interfaces between contractors are well-coordinated.
  • Monitor the implementation of contractors' quality plans, carrying out daily inspections and witnessing tests and inspections as required.
  • Track and review contractors' technical RFI's, submittals, and purchases, referring to QA/QC manager or Field Engineering team for input and approvals.
  • Ensure First of Kind (FOK) register and Sample List are in place and approved.
  • Participate in system walkdowns, punch-list management, construction close-out, and turnover of systems to clients and/or the C&Q team.

Requirements

  • Degree educated or exceptionally strong trades' background.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • Life Science, Mission Critical, or similarly complex project experience.
  • At least 15 years construction and/or mechanical experience.
  • At least 10 years' site experience.
