About Our Client: Our client, a leading engineering company based in County Cavan, is seeking a talented Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team. This role involves managing and overseeing mechanical engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring successful delivery while meeting quality, timeline, and budgetary requirements. Key Responsibilities: Manage mechanical engineering projects from initial design and planning through to implementation and completion. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets to meet project objectives. Collaborate with design, production, and installation teams to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards. Create and review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases. Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues and implement effective solutions. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Monitor project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project efficiency and reduce costs. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong understanding of project management principles, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and project management tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
