Job Description
Seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to manage construction projects in Limerick and Cork, with a focus on pharmaceutical projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of area engineers overseeing specific construction areas.
- Provide technical support to area engineers to resolve field engineering queries.
- Collaborate with the Construction Manager to monitor the construction schedule and prioritize off-site pipe and support fabrication.
- Coordinate on-site activities between Mechanical and other disciplines.
- Compile weekly progress reports for the client and Project Manager.
- Monitor the scope of work and identify potential out-of-scope activities on-site.
- Ensure equipment is ordered on time and coordinate project activities with the offsite fabrication team.
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer.
- Degree or Diploma in Building Services/Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience working on large scale pharmaceutical projects is beneficial.
- Knowledge of piping isometrics and P&IDs is essential.
- Team player with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with team members to complete tasks.
