Summary: Manage and execute projects throughout the project life cycle, adhering to safety, schedule, and budget requirements while complying with good engineering practices and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Manage project stage-gates from initiation to closeout.
- Maintain budgets and schedules agreed.
- Ensure compliance with good engineering practices, company policies, regulations, and codes.
- Manage contractor/vendors and project schedules.
- Complete work to relevant professional and statutory standards.
- Risk management and action plans to mitigate risk.
- Adhere to safe working practices.
- Manage all phases of projects, predominantly heavy mechanical engineering projects.
Qualifications:- Degree certified in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3+ years' Project Engineering experience.
- Auto CAD experience.
- Proven ability to manage projects.
- Strong communicator and keen learner.
- Ambitious and able to work to own initiative.
- Demonstrated on-time delivery and right-first-time handover of documentation.
- Experience of working on projects under PSDP/PSCS conditions.
