Position: Mechanical Project Engineer Location: County Louth Salary: €40,000 - €50,000 per annum Exciting Opportunity: Mechanical Project Engineer in County Louth! About Our Client: Our client, a well-established engineering firm based in County Louth, is seeking a talented Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team. This role involves managing and executing mechanical engineering projects from conception through to completion, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee mechanical engineering projects from start to finish, including planning, design, procurement, and implementation. Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company goals. Create and review detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including design, procurement, and construction, to ensure successful project execution. Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and quality. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer, preferably in an industrial or construction setting. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, project management principles, and industry standards. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and project management tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and leadership abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
