Job Summary: Experienced Mechanical and Electrical Engineer required to lead projects in the Waterford area and surrounding regions.
Our client is a leading Mechanical and Electrical Engineering company in Ireland with extensive experience delivering complex projects in various industries.
The successful candidate will be responsible for day-to-day engineering management, developing junior engineers, and overseeing the submittal and procurement process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Engineering lead on site and primary point of contact for Main Contractor and Subcontractors.
- Day-to-day engineering management of scope, programme, and resources.
- Develop junior engineers in their role.
- Oversee submittal and procurement process.
- On-site coordination with Main Contractor and other trades.
- Develop positive relationships with all project stakeholders.
- Assist Project Manager in reporting project status.
- Day-to-day management of subcontractors on site.
- Implement policies and standards particularly in relation to Health & Safety and Quality.
- Ownership of Commissioning and Control strategy for the project.
- Commissioning Lead for the Project.
Requirements:
- Relevant 3rd level qualification.
- 3-4 years' experience in a similar role.
- Results-driven with excellent communication skills.
- Experience in technical submittals.
- Experience in commissioning and handover procedures.
- Proven strong work ethic.
- Proven experience in successful projects.
- Excellent communicator.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Package: €40 K - €55 K based on experience and qualifications.
