A Mechanical Project Engineer is required by Careerwise recruitment to work with our Co. Limerick client on a 2-year contract position.

Role of this position

1. Prepares concept designs, risk assessments, and budget estimates.
2. Ensures that engineering design calculations are completed, maintains all documents, and oversees new or updated drawings for projects or plant modifications.
3. Prepares project documents, health and safety plans, specifications, bills of materials, and material purchases as required to implement the projects.
4. Liaises with the project team and contractors during installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning stages.
5. Ensures all equipment is registered on the maintenance management systems and project documentation is filed appropriately.
6. Reports regularly on project status, schedule, and budget.

Job Requirements

1. Degree in Engineering.
2. Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience.
3. Strong people and communication skills.
