Job Description
A Mechanical Project Engineer is required to work on a 2-year contract position with a Limerick client.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing concept designs, risk assessments, and budget estimates.
- Ensuring engineering design calculations are completed and maintaining all documents.
- Overseeing new or updated drawings for projects or plant modifications.
- Preparing project documents, health and safety plans, specifications, bills of materials, and material purchases.
- Liaising with the project team and contractors during installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning stages.
- Ensuring all equipment is registered on the maintenance management systems and project documentation is filed appropriately.
- Reporting regularly on project status, schedule, and budget.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience.
- Strong people and communication skills.
