Job Description
Mechanical Project Engineer required for pharmaceutical client site in Limerick, Ireland, to work on various key projects, coordinating design, construction, and commissioning activities.
**Job Description**
* Coordinate and participate in design, construction, and commissioning activities on site
* Lead projects for facility modifications and capital equipment procurement
* Assist the Capital Projects Manager in planning and tracking of activities
* Liaise with stakeholders to ensure clear communication between parties
* Provide technical process support to project team throughout project life cycle
* Generate and execute commissioning & qualification activities if required
* Generate change controls on Electronic QMS and drive their closure in a timely manner
* Review turnover documentation from vendors
* Setup and review of contracts
* Assist in setup of capital project programme
* Direct supervision of vendor engineers and contractors during engineering works on single or multiple capital projects
* Use of Permit to work system or other safety systems of work to control engineering activities
* Management of capital and cost benefit analysis
* Participation in HAZOP and design reviews
* Generate and check project engineering deliverables such as technical specifications, procurement submittals and handover documentation
**Requirements**
* Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
* Experience working in highly regulated environment such as Bio Pharma, Pharma, medical device, Food or Semi-conductor
* Experience with various utility systems, such as chillers, HVAC, purified water etc.
* Experience directing/supervision of construction projects would be an advantage
* Good level of project management skills
* Effective communication, presentation and documentation skills
