Mechanical Project Manager - Douglas, Cork A Mechanical Project Manager is needed to join a well-established and progressive contractor for a major project in Douglas, Cork. The successful Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of the mechanical scope of the project. Duties: Manage the full life cycle of the project, from initiation to completion. Lead client and design team meetings to ensure clear communication and understanding. Oversee the project team to ensure timely and high-quality completion. Ensure compliance with project timelines, material procurement, quality standards, and safety regulations. Prepare project schedules and monitor progress, making adjustments where necessary to meet deadlines. Conduct site visits regularly to monitor progress and approve work. Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth operations. Requirements: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline or a Trade background coupled with relevant experience. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in construction projects. Proven ability to manage large-scale residential projects. Strong understanding of Irish building regulations and safety standards. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, AutoCAD). Benefits: Salary: €80,000 to €90,000 (depending on experience).
