Job Description Due to continued expansion, Jones Engineering requirea Mechanical Quantity Surveyorfor projects based in Carlow, Ireland. Skills/ Requirements Relevant third level qualification essential - Quantity Surveying / Engineering. Experience working within the Life Sciences sector would be advantageous. Minimum 2+ years' experience post qualification in a Mechanical contracting environment. Strong technical ability and understanding Mechanical services essential. Ability to work both individually and as part of a multi-functional team. Excellent Analytical & IT Skills essential. Excellent communication and organisation skills essential Experience in management of suppliers and sub-contractors. Salary will be in line with qualifications and experience. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work well under strict deadlines is essential. Good understanding of construction contracts & methods of measurement.
