Job Title: Mechanical Quantity Surveyor Location: Dublin, Ireland The Package: €90-100k 5% matched pension 25 days annual leave We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to join our clients team on a site-based role for a large-scale pharmaceutical project in Dublin. This position will focus on managing all mechanical cost-related aspects, ensuring value and compliance with the projects financial objectives. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and manage project costs, ensuring all mechanical systems are delivered within budget and according to specification. Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers. Conduct site visits to assess progress, manage variations, and produce accurate valuations. Prepare detailed cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow statements for the project team. Handle subcontractor claims, resolve disputes, and manage final account settlements. Collaborate with site teams to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project deadlines. Maintain accurate records of project financials, ensuring transparent cost tracking. Requirements: 3+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally with a mechanical or MEP background. Previous experience working on pharmaceutical or industrial projects is highly desirable. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., CostX, Excel, MS Office). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work on-site and within a team. Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to managing project costs.
