Job Description

Mechanical Quantity Surveyor - 10854 Mechanical Quantity Surveyor required to join one of Irelands largest M&E Contractors for an Educational project in Dublin. The successful candidate will manage the commercial aspects of the project from budgeting to final accounts, ensuring financial compliance. Responsibilities: Set construction budgets from tender BoQs and track costs monthly against them. Liaise with stakeholders on commercial project aspects and submit Monthly Payment Claim Notices for certification. Compile, track, and agree on contract adjustments while maintaining accurate commercial records. Certify subcontractors and maintain control accounts. Manage contracts, warranties, bonds, and assess project risks. Monitor and report monthly on commercial performance, cash flow, and forecasts to completion. Ensure timely submission of QS reports, both internally and externally. Requirements Degree in Quantity Surveying or Building Services. 3+ years experience in Quantity Surveying or Estimation. Experience working for a Main Contractor or M&E Contractor in Ireland/UK is essential. A proven working knowledge of current contract law.
