Your new company A market leading mechanical contractor that works on award-winning projects across Ireland. Due to increased growth in the west of Ireland, they are now seeking to recruit a Mechanical HVAC/Piping Supervisor and a Mechanical Engineer where you will report to the mechanical project manager and will work with a multi-functional team in delivering projects to quality, on time and to budget. The successful candidate will work on a large multi-million project Duties: Coordinating and planning of resources including labour, materials and subcontractors Manage piping and welding subcontractors (process and high purity) General knowledge of Mechanical, HVAC, building services, utilities & process piping systems Interpret schematics and mechanical drawings Manage and drive a team to meet all project requirements and deadlines Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards Report variations and delays to the Project Manager. Prepare relevant reports Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards Reporting on progress Ensure the quality of work is maintained throughout installation Ensure Health & Safety compliance by direct staff and subcontractors Regular reviews of working practices to help improve site safety Requirements: A Mechanical Degree or Trade qualification is essential. 5+ years' experience with an Irish or UK contractor in a Mechanical Supervisor role. Experience in Process Piping systems on Pharmaceutical / Medical Devices / Industrial / Data Centre or similar projects is preferable. Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in MS Office and Navisworks. Ability to work to strict deadlines.
