Dublin, Ireland Permanent, Full time € 41,972 - 70,099 LSI Fluent English Closing date: 2 Oct 2024, 11:00 Who We Are (CHI) is leading on the clinical and operational transformation of acute paediatric healthcare and consists of hospitals at Crumlin, Temple Street and Tallaght as well as an Urgent Care Centre at Connolly hospital in Blanchardstown. Description Medical / Biomedical Scientist The purpose of this post: The purpose of this post is to support the delivery of a quality laboratory service in compliance with the requirements of international standard ISO15189 in the Blood Transfusion department. Essential Criteria: Candidates must, on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the post, possess: a) Bachelor in Science (Applied Science) Honours degree (Biomedical option) from the Technological University of Dublin / Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin Street; or b) Bachelor in Science Honours degree in Biomedical Science from the Joint University College Cork - Cork Institute of Technology course; or c) Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences of the Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin Street or the Cork Institute of Technology awarded prior to 1994; or d) Possess Certificate in Medical Laboratory Sciences of the Dublin Institute of Technology, Kevin Street or Cork Institute of Technology or the Galway/Mayo Institute of Technology (awarded prior to 1997); or f) A recognised qualification at least equivalent to (a) - (d) above; And Be registered with HCPC.
