Job Description

Medical Project Management Officer Purpose of the Role This is an exciting new role within the Medical Affairs function. As Medical Project Management Officer, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing diverse projects for the Medical Team, as well as supporting/assisting the Head of Medical Affairs. Your role will allow the medical team to work seamlessly across a wide range of projects, streamlining activities and facilitating the team in achieving their vision of improving the quality of life for patients within the Oncology Business Division and Specialty Medicines Division. Roles and Responsibilities Project Management Manage, coordinate, follow up, and report on internal and external projects for the medical affairs team (e.g., DS-initiated Medical Education events, advisory boards, standalone meetings, consultancies, team activities, etc.). Manage congresses related to medical sponsorships and activities, such as symposia or DS-sponsored Medical Education events. Coordinate project plans, organize regular team updates, identify and flag plan deviations and risks. Serve as the point of contact for internal and external meeting arrangements in conjunction with the General Assistant. Material Management Coordination Oversee the material review process from inception to sign-off. Upload medical affairs slide decks into Veeva (materials approval system). Manage the reference pack for materials, highlighting relevant references. Maintain and archive medical materials. Collaborate with marketing colleagues to maintain an active list of materials containing abbreviated prescribing information (API). Act as the Veeva (materials approval system) local champion. Medical Team Responsibilities Organize and document medical activities (e.g., planning and documenting team meetings, organizing training sessions). Set up medical onboarding programs, including training and scheduling introductory meetings. Medical Information Responsibilities Register inquiries in the Medical Information System (MIS). Respond to medical information queries based on available knowledge articles or SmPC. Triage queries requiring escalation to the relevant Medical Affairs Point of Contact. Medical Affairs Assistant Assist the Head of Medical Affairs in planning and delivering medical affairs meetings. Provide travel support when absolutely necessary. Project Lead for Office-Based Medical Activities Coordinate, present, and follow up on external sponsorship requests in the relevant Brand Team Meeting. Coordinate the weekly Project Medical Meeting and manage team meeting minutes. Serve as the point of contact for national and international congresses supported by the medical team.
