A semi-public hospital based in North Dublin is seeking a Medical Registrar (ideally with experience in Geriatric/Rehabilitation Medicine). Key responsibilities: Participate as a member of a multi-disciplinary team in the provision of medical care to patients Diagnose and treat patients Ensure that duties and functions are undertaken in a manner that prioritises the safety and well-being of patients Assess patients on admission and/or discharge as required and write detailed reports in the case notes Order and interpret diagnostic tests Initiate and monitor treatment Communicate effectively with patients and clients Attend clinics and participate in relevant meetings, case conferences and ward rounds; followed by documentation of findings on each patient's chart; follow through with actions arising from the round Key requirements of the Medical Registrar: General Active IMC registration Valid ACLS & BLS Certificate Essential Full MRCP Qualification or in process of these professional exams would help your application You will also need to have considerable experience in General Medicine / sub-specialties You will need to have passed either the IELTS or OET exam and hold a valid certificate. The two accepted standards are IELTS overall Band 7, not less than 6.5 in each domain or OET Grade B overall You must have no Visa and/or Work Permit Restrictions to work in Ireland or you must already have a Valid Visa and/or Work Permit and based in Ireland, which will enable you to start ASAP Available to start ASAP If you are interested in the above post, please apply online today!
