Medical Secretary / Administrator Newcastle West Co. Limerick
Our client is based in Newcastle West Co.
Limerick , are looking to hire an experienced Medical Secretary to join their expanding team on a contract basis initially.
The Role:
As Medical Secretary / Administrator you will have fantastic interpersonal and communication skills and possess awareness and sensitivity towards patient requirements.
The ideal candidate will have 1- 2 years plus experience working in a similar role, within a medical practice or Hospital fast-paced environment, and is looking for an opportunity to work in a wonderful team environment.
Responsibilities to include:- Ensuring all patients are dealt with in an efficient and professional manner.
- Booking of appointments,
- Dealing with correspondences from GP's,
- Processing medical claim forms
- Maintaining patient records with confidentiality
- Prepare & process medical documents & reports this also includes Dictaphone typing.
Your Skills/ Experience that we need:- Must have 1-2+ years of experience in a similar role within a medical practice or a Hospital setting.
- Must have fantastic interpersonal and communication skills and possess awareness and sensitivity towards patient requirements.
- Strong IT and Data Processing skills with excellent typing skills are essential.
- Polite and clear telephone manner.
- Must have the ability to work well as part of a team.
The Offer:
This position is a contract role paying €18.55 per hour working 35 hours per week with 28 days annual leave.
Hours of work:Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
